Special Ed 101: Learn the Basics of the Special Ed Process
Join us for the first workshop in our Special Education Parent Series! This workshop is an excellent introduction to the special education process. Ample time for Q&A will be provided, and all are welcome regardless of where you and your child are in the process. Registration is required.
Presenter Lori Henry is a seasoned public educator with 23 years of experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Lori has earned a Master's degree in Special Education and Educational Leadership with a strong focus on the whole child approach and social-emotional learning implementation. Her unique approach to special education case management comes from being a parent of two special needs teenagers who understands the frustration, confusion, and emotional aspects of raising neurodiverse children and its impact on family life.
