How to Talk to Kids About Antiracism

This workshop is geared towards parents, who should plan on attending without their kids. Registration is required and may be completed here

Many parents and caregivers identify the need to infuse antiracism into their home lives, but they struggle with how to approach the topic with their young children. Drawing from their experience as parents and educators, co-presenters Tabitha and Adam bring to the forefront lessons on how to talk to kids about antiracism in an age-appropriate manner. From how to approach these conversations if your child seems disinterested and how to maintain consistency at home to where to look for answers to your kids’ questions, lessons gleaned from this workshop will leave parents and caregivers feeling empowered and more confident to have these courageous conversations with their children. Time for Q&A will be provided.
