HPL Art Lecture and Workshop Theme: LATINX CELEBRATION - Featured Artist, Pablo Picasso … Classes Taught by Liz Ndoye
Latin American History Month starts in September and extends into October. We will continue
our discovery and exploration of the work of influential Latin artists of the 20th century.
During our second session on Oct.12, our artist of focus will be Pablo Picasso. Picasso,
possibly the most famous artist of the 20th Century was Spain’s most famous son. Picasso
went through many periods of style change we will discuss them but focus on his Blue period.
This will enable us to again focus on the proportions of the human figure and practice our
drawing skills while drawing humans.
Tips and techniques for drawing will be reviewed.
