Latin American History Month starts in September and extends into October. We will continue
our discovery and exploration of the work of influential Latin artists of the 20th century.
Diego Velazquez was a Spanish artist to be reckoned with. Velazquez was a Baroque painter to whom many great later modernist painters paid
tribute to in their work - including Picasso and Francis Bacon.He was most beloved for his royal portraits and we will spend time looking at these and then explore our own work with practicing our skills in portrait drawing.
Tips and techniques for drawing will be reviewed.
