Celebrating Contemporary Native American Artists. Art Class with Liz Ndoye … Featured artist, Brad Kahlhamer
In this class we will focus on painter Brad Kahlhamer - a visual jokester who also brings
attention to the difficulties of Native life in America. His work is graffiti-like and visually amusing
but with a strong message about his feelings about the inequities visited upon tribal peoples in
this country. During creative time in this class, graffiti will be discussed and used as an art
approach and students will make their own graffiti inspired imagery for their finished art pieces.
