SUMMARY:Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye … Featured Artist - Lee Bontecou
DESCRIPTION:The second lesson on March 8\, we will focus on Lee Bontecou.
Bontecou was an American sculptor and printmaker and a pioneer figure in
the New York art world. She kept her work consistently in a recognizable
style\, and received broad recognition in the 1960s. With Lee we will
explore the possibilities of both printmaking and 3-D\, sculptural mixed
media work. It will be a free range openly creative class in which students
will be encouraged to experiment with many different types of
non-traditional materials - as well as using traditional tools like paint
and brushes.\n\nThis program will be held in person and live on Zoom and
YouTube!\n\nPlease register below. REGISTRATION CLOSES 15 MINUTES BEFORE
EVENT. ONLY PEOPLE WHO REGISTER HERE WILL RECEIVE THE ZOOM LINK AND
PASSWORD TO ENTER THE CLASS 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT BEGINS. To protect
the Zoom call from outside interference\, please register with your name
and email.\n\nIf you have any questions or have problems logging on\,
please email laura.knittel@hoboken.bccls.org\n\n \n\nThis program is a part
of our Women's History Month series.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
