Celebrating the Holiday Season with Art! Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye. Featured Artist - Georgia O’Keeffe
For our final class in December, students will leave the world of realism again and go back to
the realm of abstraction. We will look at an old favorite, an artist we have looked at more than
once before but never at her abstract works. We will look at and discuss the water color
abstract works of Georgia O’Keeffe. O’Keeffe stated that she felt best when she worked
quickly with water colors. When her flower paintings became popular she focused on them and
neglected what she loved. In celebration of her great talent we will create our own abstractions.
This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
