All Seasons Chamber Players: "Musical Tastings-Delights From Vivaldi to Price"

The All Seasons Chamber Players will return to the Englewood Public Library on Sunday January 22, 2023 at 7 pm to perform a free public concert.  Although registration is not required, it is encouraged at bccls.libcal.com/event/9860482.

       The program, entitled “Musical Tastings: Delights From Vivaldi to Price,” will  present works by varied composers from the baroque to modern periods including two African American composers, Samuel Coleridge Taylor and Florence Price. Performers will include violinist Bob Lawrence of NYC; flutist Lisa Hansen of Leonia;  and cellist E. Zoe Hassman of NYC and Jean Strickholm of Demarest. . Bob Lawrence, Program Director for the ensemble, will introduce each selection with spoken program notes. All Seasons performers are professional musicians who also perform with major area orchestras, Broadway shows and summer music festivals.

       Now in its 42nd season, the All Seasons Chamber Players has performed over 850 concerts throughout the metropolitan area and has been an annual attraction at the Englewood Library since 1984. Support for this concert is provided by the Friends of the Englewood Public Library; a grant administered by the Bergen County Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs from funds granted by the New Jersey Council on the Arts; the Schenck Foundation; the Puffin Foundation;  and the Bergen Foundation.
