SUMMARY:Collage Together with Darlene : Create a Journal
DESCRIPTION:Create a journal using exclusively repurposed materials from 
 Darlene's personal stash!  You will design a book cover using a repurposed 
 box that you will construct and decorate in any way you would like.  You 
 will then seek or create paper to use as the pages of the journal\, 
 creatively exploring different ways to utilize the paper\, such as adding 
 envelopes to the pages.  We will use a yarm wrapped binding that will allow 
 you to add and remove pages easily.  The direction you go with your journal 
 is limitless!\n\n \n\nDarlene is an intuitive collage artist who loves to 
 share her passion of creating with those new to collage and seasoned 
 experts.  Darlene feels it’s very special to collage in community\, so 
 she is leading these workshops that allow people to create freely and 
 alongside one another. She will introduce a theme to guide us through.  We 
 will each complete one collage at each session using magazines\, books and 
 papers\, along with a glue stick and some scissors. Absolutely no 
 experience is necessary!\n\nIf you do not have your own materials\, we will 
 provide them for you.  \n\nThe instructor is leading the program and 
 available to assist. To make it fair for all participants\, your effort is 
 a key element to this and other craft programs. By registering\, you agree 
 to participate using your best efforts.
