Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye, Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Featured Artist, Bambou Gili

Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye, Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Featured Artist, Bambou Gili

For this class we will finish our Asian Heritage Month studies with the work of Bambou
Gili. Another figurative painter, Gili makes glorious, surreal imagery in intense saturated color.
She, too, is fascinated by her ancestry and what it means to be Asian in America during a
period of intensifying anti-Asian racism. We will create our own figurative story paintings -
exploring the use of non-realistic colors in figurative work.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
