Art Lecture & Workshop with Liz NDoye - Celebrating French and America Independence - Featuring Artist Oscar Claude Monet

Art Lecture & Workshop with Liz NDoye - Celebrating French and America Independence - Featuring Artist Oscar Claude Monet

During July, the month of Bastille Day and French and American Independence (of which the
French were great supporters and allies), we will look at the art of French speaking and French
American artists.

Our first class and we will look at the art of the great French artist Claude
Monet. Oscar-Claude Monet was a French painter and founder of impressionist painting who is
seen as a key precursor to modernism, especially in his attempts to paint nature as he
perceived it. We, too, inspired by his magnificent landscapes will work with nature and focus
on how light at different times of day can transform our work.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
