Celebrating LGBTQ Pride Month / Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye- Featured Artist Max Colby

Celebrating LGBTQ Pride Month / Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye- Featured Artist Max Colby

For our second class, we will look at the gorgeous work fo Max Colby. Max Colby is a
young queer artist who examines popular cultural codes embedded in mundane
materials. She uses all kinds of everyday materials, fabrics, beads, sequins, etc. to
make very ornate and beautiful installations. Students will be inspired to make their
own fabulous imagery using a variety of materials range from buttons and bows to
scraps of lace and ribbons.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
