Celebrating Contemporary Native American Artists with Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye. Featured Artist is Wendy Red Star

Celebrating Contemporary Native American Artists with Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye. Featured Artist is Wendy Red Star

On November 8, 2023, the artist of focus will be Wendy Red Star. Red Star is an exciting new
painter who works from a Feminist prospective to create exciting, vibrant images of Crow
women - honoring their daily lives and traditions. Students in this class will create their own
versions of Feminist imagery based on their own family traditions - hopefully celebrating some
of the fierce pride for family that Red Star shows in her work. Acrylics and brightly colored oil
pastels will be the media of choice.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
