Art Lecture & Creative Workshop with Liz Ndoye - "Celebrating Refreshment and Renewal"... Learn how to draw.

Art Lecture & Creative Workshop with Liz Ndoye - "Celebrating Refreshment and Renewal"... Learn how to draw.

September is traditionally the time of launching new beginnings. The new school year, the new year in many religious traditions - Judaism, Islam, Hinduism. So in that vein, the theme of the September Art with Liz classes will be refreshment and renewal.

The basis of our classes and work will be the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards. Ms. Edwards uses scientific research on the workings of the brain to teach and improve artists’ drawing skills. Many of her theories are also taken from practices that artists and art students have been using for centuries.

For our final class, students will start drawing from the model. We will have a live model to draw from. All of the previous skills that students have learned in the prior September classes will enable them to start drawing the human figure realistically.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
