Celebrating Latin History Month - Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye, featured Artist,Tunga
For our final October session on Oct. 25, 2023, we will look at and discuss Tunga. Tunga was
one of the leading Brazilian artists of his generation, best known for his daring, elaborate, and
surrealist-tinged sculptures, installations, videos, and performances that dealt with subjects
like desire, enigma, and rituals. Student artists will learn about surrealism and will create their
own mini assemblages with found materials.
This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
