Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye, Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Featured Artist Hangama Amiri

Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye, Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Featured Artist Hangama Amiri

Our artist of interest on May 10 is Hangama Amiri. Amiri is an Afghani American artist who
creates incredible images with fabric and paint - everything from portraits to cityscapes.Much
of Amiri's work is figurative and focuses on cross-cultural dialogue, women's rights,
and feminism. We will revisit our skills and techniques of figurative drawing and create a
portrait in fabric collage.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
