Celebrating Latin History Month - Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye, featured Artist, Firelei Baez
For our first class in October, we will be looking a the work of Firelei Baez, an amazing
Dominican painter who creates fanciful, imaginative, intricate creatures that appear to be
female but on closer observation may be hybrid woman/animal. Students will also explore their
own figurative creatures - part beast and part human. They will be given the option to use
collage or paint.
This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
