Celebrating Latin History Month - Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye, featured Artist, María Fernanda Cardoso

Celebrating Latin History Month - Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye, featured Artist, María Fernanda Cardoso

María Fernanda Cardoso is a Colombian Australian artist. Her contemporary art references
many types of ready-made material, including plastic, trash, plants, dried and living animals,
bones and styrofoam. We will look at her work on Oct. 18, 2023. After looking at and
discussing her work, we, too, will look at small natural objects and use them to make art.
Students will have the choice of either creating still life, two dimensional images or small
sculptures using natural materials like shells and small stones.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
