Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye. Theme: HOPE AND NEW BEGINNINGS Featured Artist is James Little

Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye. Theme: HOPE AND NEW BEGINNINGS Featured Artist is James Little

This theme of hope and new beginnings we hope will give each participant a fresh new
perspective on their own work and perhaps challenge us all to move forward in an optimistic
and concerted effort to a better year and fresher future!

Our flagship artist for 2023 on January 4, 2023, will be James Little, an American painter and
curator. He is known for his works of geometric abstraction which are often imbued with
exuberant color. Students will begin the year with an exploration of Little’s labor intensive work,
a discussion of geometric abstraction in the visual arts and then create their own paintings
based on what inspired them in Little’s beautiful work. An emphasis on pattern and rhythm will
be encouraged in the aesthetic that students pursue.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
