Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye
For this class our literary/visual art collaboration will be the painter
DeChirico and the poet Sylvia Plath. DeChirico, the brilliant constructionist inspired the genius
poet Plath to create a poem called “The Disquieting Muses” titled after his painting by the
same name. Both his painting and her poem are mysterious and disquieting, troubling and
thought provoking. We will be inspired to create acrylic paintings in the style of the Italian
constructivists.
This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
