Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye Theme: HOPE AND NEW BEGINNINGS Featured Artist is Simone Leigh.
The final artist will be Simone Leigh. Simone Leigh is a mixed media artist who is most known for her sculpture and ceramics. She is an African American artist from Chicago now living in new York. Her work is feminist and African art inspired. She focuses on “Black female subjectivity” and the marginalization of women of color. We will create our own small ceramic pieces using air dry clay.
This program will be held in person, live on Zoom and YouTube!
