Art Lecture and Workshop with Liz Ndoye
For our final class on Wednesday April 26, we will look at the great master Titian’s painting entitled Danae
based on Ovid’s masterpiece Metamorphosis. The painting shows Danae at the moment in the
myth where Jupiter impregnates Danae and they conceive a son - this too is a poem with a
tragic ending. Students will be asked to find a poem with an uplifting positive feeling and
create an image to inspire good feelings.
This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!
